Lee Do Hyun & Go Min Si Might Reunite in a New Drama by the Hong Sisters!

Info in Movie News | Exciting news for K-drama fans—Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si are likely to become part of another drama in a new drama! Fans who have totally enjoyed their on-screen chemistry are on the seventh heaven over the idea of their reunion.

According to Soompi, Lee Do Hyun is said to be approached with a project written by the phenomenal Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran). YUEHWA Entertainment Korea, one of the sources from the actor's side, disclosed that an offer was made to Lee Do Hyun, and his decision is yet to come. His agency released a statement passing the good news on (the offer's reception) and stating they haven't received a confirmative reply so far.

Nevertheless, Go Min Si's participation in the said show is a given, and it was announced as soon as in January 2025. At the beginning, it was also rumored that Cha Eun Woo might be invited to the party but as of the latest report, he has decided to withdraw from the show.

For the uninitiated, the Hong Sisters stand as the brain behind the famous K-dramas like Hotel Del Luna, My Girl, and Alchemy of Souls. No matter the genre, the success of the drama is almost certain as just their names can cause positive fan reactions.

If he wants the role, it will not be his first collaboration with the Hong Sisters as they had formerly worked together in Hotel Del Luna (2019), where he played Go Chung Myung. He and Go Min Si have been in four projects together, the latest being Sweet Home, Youth of May, and the short drama Reincarnation Love. Their great chemistry either as siblings or lovers is always a topic of talks among the audience, so it is very much natural that fans were craving their appearing together again.

At this moment, Lee Do Hyun is on his duty in the Air Force military band and he is scheduled to return to civilian life on May 13, 2025. Moreover, Go Min Si also has a highly anticipated project--Tastefully Yours, a Netflix drama scheduled to air in May 2025, where she will portray a very skilled chef, and her co-star will be Kang Ha Neul.

With a lot of thrilling projects in the pipeline, 2025 is looking to be a major year for both actors. Keep an eye out for news—hopefully, we’ll get to see them in a movie together again soon!
