Info in Movie News | Universal Pictures, has begun the production phase of a scary horror film called Incidents Around the House, which is co-produced with horror production companies Atomic Monster and Blumhouse. The movie is an amalgamation of Oscar-winner Jessica Chastain and director Rob Savage, who is famous for his groundbreaking work in the genre.
According to Deadline, the movie is an adaptation of the novel that was written by Josh Malerman, the well-known author of the bestseller Bird Box. The screenplay is penned by Succession writer Nathan Elston. The story follows a young girl who begins to sense a supernatural presence in her troubled home, referring to it only as “Other Mommy.” Told from the child's point of view, the narrative promises a tense, unsettling experience that blends psychological horror with emotional depth.
Rob Savage will direct the movie and also serve as executive producer, alongside Josh Malerman and Ryan Lewis from Spin a Black Yarn. James Wan, the creative force behind The Conjuring universe, is producing with Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Macdara Kelleher. Alayna Glasthal has overseeing of the Atomic Monster project.
