According to People.com, the plot and cast for Part III remain tightly under wraps, but the focus of the franchise appears set to stay on the Abbotts, particularly Evelyn Abbott, played by Emily Blunt. So far, there is no confirmation from the makers that the show is coming back and it appears that taking it forward without her would be quite difficult. In the movies A Quiet Place, Evelyn, the courageous mother who was the one that the family relied on after the catastrophe caused by the alien invasion, has just become the emotional core of the movies. Her silent power and survival skills have certainly influenced the series’ tone and emotional depth.
The original A Quiet Place gave audience a glimpse into a world where the aliens were blind but had highly sensitive hearing, and thus, they hunted humans. The Abbotts, with Lee played by Krasinski and Evelyn played by Blunt, were a family that only used sign language to communicate and were determined to live in total silence so they would not be detected.
