Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. Sadie Sink Joins Spider-Man 4: Will She Be Gwen Stacy or a New Character in the MCU?

Info in Movie News | Rumors have been swirling for a few days now about Sadie Sink, known for her role in Stranger Things, officially coming on board the Spider-Man movie series. However, details about her character role is still under wraps. While there's no official statement confirming who she'll be portraying, fans and several media sources started making assumptions immediately.

Who will Sadie Sink play?

Reporting from Collider, with her signature red hair, said that she could play Angelica Jones aka Firestar. This red-haired character is a mutant from Earth 616 with the power of fire manipulation. In the comics, Firestar has worked with Spider-Man in the classic animated series Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.

Meanwhile, many fans suspect that Sink will play Gwen Stacy, the character played by Emma Stone in The Amazing Spider-Man saga, according to the main timeline of Peter Parker's life. Plus, it is estimated that the time setting of the Spider-men 4 movie is when Peter Parker starts college. Regarding Sink's hair color, of course the Hollywood hairdo team can easily make it the same as Gwen Stacy.

On the other hand, some other speculations say that Sink could be Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat, an antihero who has a unique relationship with Spider-Man. So at this point, Let Marvel and Sony cook!

Production Starts Summer, Release 2026

The movie, set to be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, is planned to start production this summer and has a set release date of July 31, 2026. This movie is a significant undertaking for Tom Holland, as he will also appear in Christopher Nolan's upcoming spectacle The Odyssey, just a fortnight before Spider-Man 4 hits the cinema screens. What about Zendaya, Garfield, and Maguire?

As of now, Zendaya's involvement as MJ is still unconfirmed. With a backstory that has MJ forgetting about Peter Parker, it will be interesting to see if she returns and how their narrative will develop.

On the other hand, even though Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire had a pleasantly surprising success in No Way Home, there is yet no indication of them appearing in Spider-Man 4. Taking into account that the movie will premiere after Avengers: Doomsday, it is probable that the movie will explore the aftermath of the preceding movie more profoundly and bring in new characters to further enhance the Spider-Man universe within the MCU. With the addition of Sadie Sink, Spider-Man 4 is even more exciting to look forward to. Will she be Peter Parker's new love interest? Or will she be the new enemy that challenges the hero? Again and again, Let Marvel and Sony cook first!
