Reacher S3 Hits Prime Video: Alan Ritchson Returns in Action-Packed Adaptation of Persuader

Info in Movie News | Prime Video released the first three episodes of the third season of “Reacher” on Feb. 20, 2025. The inspiration for this season comes from the seventh installment of the Jack Reacher series, "Persuader," authored by Lee Child. Alan Ritchson returns as the lead hero, Jack Reacher. The story sees Reacher go undercover in an organized crime syndicate and attempts to rescue a kidnapped federal agent.

Maria Sten returns as Frances Neagley, Reacher’s trusted confidant. Among the new cast additions this season, Anthony Michael Hall will play Zachary Beck, Johnny Berchtold will portray Richard Beck as well as Serinda Swan, including new dangers that Reacher fought against in the past.

The season will be more cerebral than you might expect, Santora said in Enertainment Weekly, as its story examines Reacher’s meticulous perspective of justice — which doesn’t just involve thwacking a bad guy — and how his IQ sometimes eclipses his strength.

After the three-episode premiere, new episodes drop weekly on Thursdays, leading to the season finale on March 27, 2025. Amazon has a free trial for Prime Video, so newcomers to the series can catch Season 3 with no obligations up front.

With its captivating storytelling, nail-biting action, and faithful adaptation of Lee Child’s novel, “Reacher continues to firmly establish itself as one of the best original franchises on Prime Video.”
