According to The Hollywood Reporter, on Tuesday, February 11, the productions house announced that a work by author and director Lee Kirk, New York Rev, is in the production on stage in Oklahoma.

The movie is produced based on the real journey of Green Day band when they lived in a van before the success of "Rookie", their debut album which won a Grammy in 1994 and has also been certified as double diamond.

Actors Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust will star in a movie about three friends who go to Los Angeles thinking the new band will open a Green Day concert on New Year's Eve.

Others actors include Jenny Fuscher, Angel Kinsey, Ignacio Diaz Silverio and Keen Fuffalo who will spice up the movie.

Meanwhile, recalling life's journey in the van, Green Day vocalist, Joe Billie Armstrong said those days were extraordinary. He recalls where at those times, their extraordinary days were spent inside the van, sleepless to perform at a show attended by only 10 kids, distanced 50 miles away.

He added that the same thing happened again the next day. However, because he was doing it with bandmates who have become his family, it wasn't a problem at all. "it was electrifying. Let the music and mischief ensue," he concludesd.
