Kim Ji Won's agency, HighZium Studio, affirmed the news, stating that the actress, famous as the "Queen of Tears," is contemplating positively the proposal to be part of "Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia".

The South Korean production of "Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia" is a dark medical drama tracing the journey of Gye Soo Jung, a talented yet significantly recluse surgeon solely due to her troubling past. The narrative underlines her courage confronting a corrupted world, banking only on her unparalleled surgical skills.

The actual event is centered mainly around the storylines of Dr. Gye Soo Jung, the protagonist's ability to cure the corrupt world around her with her love for surgery that she has gained through her hard personal life and the story of her reclusive state.

The series is set to air on SBS with activities starting in the latter half of the year.
