Jurassic World Rebirth, Scarlett Johansson as a Secret Ops Expert in an isolated Equatorial Region (Trailer)

Info in Movie News | "Five years after 'Jurassic World Dominion', an expedition braves [into an] isolated equatorial regions  to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures for a medical breakthrough." This is the main premise of the latest movie from Universal's seventh entry in the 31-year-old cinematic franchise, “Jurassic World Rebirth”.

A story set in a world where dinosaurs was exist with featured familiar name will bring it to the screen, according to Variety. Scarlett Johansson plays Zora Bennett, a covert ops expert who is brought on to lead an expedition to retrieve genetic material from three dinosaurs. Additional casting includes Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Ed Skrein, Mahershala Ali, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, Philippine Velge, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda and Bechir Sylvain.

Bailey portrays the paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis; Ali plays Duncan Kincaid, one of Zora’s co-workers; and Friend plays Martin Krebs, an employee of the pharmaceutical company financing the mission. Sylvain Velge, as well as Skrein also feature as team members below Zora.

According to the background of the production team, "Jurassic World Rebirth" is directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Michael Crichton and David Koepp. Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall have taken on producers.

Then, Steven Spielberg (“Jurassic Park,” “The Lost World: Jurassic Park”) is an executive producer, with Denis L. Stewart. Spielberg was an executive producer on “Jurassic Park III,” “Jurassic World,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and ”Jurassic World: Dominion.” Cinematography is by John Mathieson.

Filming locations for “Jurassic World Rebirth” were in select locations in Thailand, London, and California. The movie is set to be released in theatres July 2, 2025, by Universal, the film’s distributor. The studio shared a first look of the film in August.

Evil Dead Burn Begins Shooting, Souheila Yacoub Leads the Horror Movie
