Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. Chris Pratt Confirms Star-Lord’s Return—Just Not in Avengers: Doomsday

Info in Movie News | Chris Pratt has finally addressed his future in the MCU, and while his name was missing from the massive Avengers: Doomsday cast announcement, he’s making it clear that Star-Lord isn’t done just yet.

According to Collider, Pratt recently confirmed in an interview that the promise made at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 still stands. “I can’t say where fans will see Star-Lord again, but I can tell them that we made a promise... and he (red: Star Lord) will return,” he said.

He also had a hilarious reaction to his absence from the Doomsday cast reveal, joking, “I don’t know! Maybe the chair was too far back… or they cut away from it? But I’m sure it was there.”

Although nobody knows when and if Star Lord will join forces with the Avengers, Marvel left fans stunned by the comeback of big stars from Fox X-Men series such as Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and James Marsden. The most important question now is, will the X-Men team up with Avengers or will they act as threats to their lives?

Chris Pratt’s New Sci-Fi Film ‘Mercy’

Pratt has been tapped to star opposite Rebecca Ferguson (Silo, Mission: Impossible) and Kenneth Choi (The Wolf of Wall Street) in Mercy, the upcoming sci-fi thriller due in theaters early next year. The film follows a detective who is accused of a crime and forced to prove his innocence, but further plot specifics about the project are being kept under wraps. Timur Bekmambetov, who previously directed other projects such as V2: Escape from Hell and Profile, will direct Mercy. Marco van Belle (Arthur & Merlin) will write the script.

Meanwhile, Avengers: Doomsday is dropping on May 1, 2026. So while Star-Lord’s comeback remains a mystery, one thing’s for sure—Chris Pratt isn’t going anywhere!
