The Electric State: Russo Brothers' Latest Sci-Fi Film Premieres on Netflix in March 2025

Info in Movie News | The electric state is the latest science fiction film from Anthony and Joe Russo, and will be in theaters before coming to Netflix on March 14, 2025. Track two and two have become better known as the film for this is two and Cosmo between the stars like an orphaned teenager Michelle, who embarks on a journey to find her missing younger brother, accompanied by a mysterious robot. Chris Pratt stars as Keats, a dubious smuggler roped into Michelle’s odyssey.

Inspired by the graphic novel of the same name from Simon Stålenhag, The Electric State takes place in an alternate retro-futuristic 1990’s America. The movie also stars Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci and Anthony Mackie, who voices the robot Herman.


Excitement Ahead of the Release

On February 24, 2025, People reported, the film’s lead actors were at its premiere at The Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. Millie Bobby Brown wowed in a sparkling floor-length frock, and Chris Pratt walked the carpet with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, who made an elegant statement in an ensemble. Their presence added to the mounting excitement ahead of the film’s release.

Millie Bobby Brown said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she was excited by the project:

"Michelle is such an emotional and adventurous character. I connected with her on a deep level, and I’m incredibly proud to bring her story to the screen."

In the meantime, Joe Russo explained what made the vision for the film so unique:

"We wanted to create a world that feels familiar yet futuristic, with stunning visuals and an emotional story." (The Hollywood Reporter, February 24, 2025)
