Nickelodeon Announces Avatar: Seven Havens, a New Era of Avatarverse Begins

Info in Movie News | The thrilling Avatar series gets a new life now with Avatar: Seven Havens. The show will be created by Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko; producers of one of the best TV series, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, under the Nickelodeon Animation-affiliated Avatar Studios. Presently, it's being shot and promises to deliver a totally new enthralling and thrilling story filled with action, fantasy, and mystery.

DiMartino and Konietzko let the world know about their joy of being the ones to make this entire new story in the Avatar universe through an official statement. They confess that at the time of the original Avatar series establishment they were unaware of the fact, that a decade later the universe would be expanding farther. However, they have to give us assurance that the new series will be quite an emotional and filled with great characters and there will be a bigger world around Avatar: Seven Havens.

Avatar: Seven Havens will be set after The Legend of Korra, according to Variety. Post-apocalyptic world: A civilization-threatening catastrophe, so the story opens, has thrown the world into chaos. In this confusing setting, a young earthbender learns that he is the new Avatar and must step in for Korra. Instead of being a welcomed savior, he is a threat to humanity. When hunting, humans (and enemy spirits) see the Avatar as a disrupter of the balance of the world, making the Avatar’s journey even more difficult.

To save seven sanctuaries, both brothers come together and together they must also save the last seven sanctuaries before the final stronghold of human civilization collapses. The newfound Avatar is not only a test to see whether he has the physical strength to make it through the mission, but he must also learn how to use his intellect and spirit to'find his destiny. 

Avatar: Seven Havens has been confirmed to create two seasons with a total of 26 episodes that will last for 30 minutes each. Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios have still not created an official release date yet. On the other hand, the show is also a new story for the Avatar franchise, with a universe full of challenges. For fans, a new action-packed and deeper story that dwells into the Avatarverses, a series that has been thrilling fans for almost 20 years, brings excitement.
