History of Losers, Drama Finally Confirms Premiere Date, Official Teaser Released

Info in Movie News | After nearly three years of anticipation, the upcoming drama History of Losers has finally confirmed its premiere date. On February 21, 2025, the official teaser video was released, further increasing audience excitement ahead of its debut.

According to Soompi, History of Losers is a romantic comedy drama adapted from the webtoon written by Kim Poong. The four friends—played by Jo Byeong Gyu, Ryeoun, Jung Jae Kwang and Jung Yong Ju—first met 25 years ago as university classmates. Together, they navigate the precious moments of life, from love to heartbreak to friendship tested by time.

In a newly released teaser clip, Seo Min Ki (Jo Byeong Gyu) meets Seol Ha (Bang Minah) and falls in love at first sight. Their on-screen chemistry is sure to be a key strength of the drama.

Him came Jo Byeong Gyu, known for The Uncanny Counter (2020), made a return line at the end of last year with two dramas Pathetic History History of Losers. Bang Minah, who recently appeared in Delivery Man (2023) has been busy with film projects like Miss Fortune (2023) and The Unrighteous (2024).

History of Losers was previously slated to be made into a film in 2015, but that project didn't come to fruition before being developed into a television series. The story had been successfully adapted into a musical drama, 1992, and then later in 2017: that ultimately inspired the development of this latest drama series.

History of Losers will debut on Feb 26, 2025, with two episodes landing each week. Of course, this is bound to be romantic, comedic, and entertaining, especially if you love genre films relating to friendship, love, and nostalgia.
