Info In Movie News | Britney Spears + New Biopic (Based on Life Story It be based on Spears memoir, titled, "The Woman in Me," pushed oct 24, 2023. Jon M. Chu, who helmed “Crazy Rich Asians” and “In the Heights,” will direct the biopic; Marc Platt, who produced “La La Land” and “The Trial of the Chicago 7,” will produce the film.

The news was confirmed by Britney Spears herself, who said that she was looking forward to working with Marc Platt on “a secret project.” “Couldn’t be more excited to share with my fans that I’m collaborating on a top secret project with #MarcPlatt,” Britney tweeted.

Britney Spears, “The Woman in Me”: Britney Spears’s new memoir debuted in October 2023, and so far more than 2 million copies have been sold in the USA, and approximately 3 million copies around the world, according to Charlie Cohen, the head of Celebrity Publishing at Dey Street and Harley Books, who says the book has been translated into 26 languages since its publication date; other figures may vary.

The memoir explores multiple heartfelt moments from the 42-year-old singer's life, covering previously undisclosed details about her career, family life, conservatorship, and high-profile love affairs — including new information about her relationship with Justin Timberlake that has certainly piqued the curiosity of fans and publications in equal measure.
