According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. Synopsis: Darc (2018)

Setting: Early movie scenes portray Tokyo, Japan, as a place where a little boy, Darc, and his mother live, the latter being a prostitute after moving to the country following the death of Darc's father.

Plot: One evening, Tashi, the son of the number one Yakuza boss, comes to see Darc's mother. He harshly attacks her, then Darc tries to stop him, but his attempt is in vain and Tashi stabs him. To protect her son, Darc's mother hits Tashi, which causes the latter to start a chase. In the end, Darc's mother is caught by Tashi and his father, the Yakuza leader, and tortured to death while Darc searches for a place to hide.

Time Skip: Darc, now a harsh assassin in America, who has just been released from prison twenty-six years after, finds out that he is back on the street. Lafi, the detective who freed him, discovers Tashi's presence in America, and he then finds out that Tashi has committed quite a few criminal actions and, thus, he needs Darc' help to go after him.

Revenge and Undercover: Lafi reluctantly explains to Darc that only if he chooses to help him can he obtain a measure of satisfaction from the crime committed against his father. He fakes his way into Tashi's gang by first befriending Tashi's son, Shiu, and then he becomes his bodyguard. Darc's ruse is almost discovered several times, but he uses his wits and cunning to counteract the scrutiny.

Climax: Darc undertakes the task to eliminate Yakuza members in a methodical manner, and ultimately, he ends up facing off with Tashi, and in the fight, he kills him when the latter refuses to tell the location of Lafi's kidnapped daughter. Lisa, Darc's childhood friend, who is also connected to the Yakuza, is being pressured to reveal Darc's true identity.

Final Showdown: The king Yakuza, Tashi's father, gives an order to all of the gang members for the final assault on Darc. Despite the fact that the resistance is heavy, Darc finds a way to get into the Yakuza's headquarters, and at the end, he kills Tashi's father and sets Lafi's daughter, Princess Lafi, free.

Conclusion: Darc is able to get his revenge, but he is still totally beat up and has to lay on the ground. Then, the nurse Princess Lafi bandages him up, saving his life. The film is wrapped up with Darc taking revenge on his mother's killer and causing the collapse of the Yakuza hierarchy.
