Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. He’s a doll-collecting, serial-killing dog groomer in a velour tracksuit played with greasy ...

Mole Man Confirmed for Fantastic Four First Steps Alongside Galactus

Info in Movie News | Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps is shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases of 2025, and the studio is slowly revealing more surprises. While fans already know Galactus is the movie’s primary threat, actor Joseph Quinn, who plays Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, recently let slip that another villain is joining the fray—none other than Mole Man.

According to Collider, Quinn revealed this during a cast panel at CCXP Mexico, with a video shared by Culture Crave on X. “It’s a very stacked cast, we’ve got a lot of fantastic characters in there,” Quinn said. “There’s also Mole Man, who is wonderful in it, but Galactus is the big bad.” There is no knowledge as to whether the announcement of the Fantastic Four fighting more than one villain was a well-planned event or an accidental one, but at least we have a confirmation of this.

The first issue of The Fantastic Four in 1961 is where The Mole Man, a former Marvel Comics villain, was introduced and became very popular among the readers. He was Harvey Elder before he hid himself in a deep cave that was exposed to a burst of a blue diamond-like object and became blind. By giving up the world and choosing to lead the subterranean realm which is full of unusual creatures, he also goes on to wage war against human beings, and his battles begin with the Fantastic Four.

Thus far, it is not confirmed who will play the role of Mole Man in the movie. It has been announced that Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich have sanctioned the movie, but the roles they will play are not known, the fans hypothesize one of them is the well-known villain.

First Steps distinguishes itself as a one-of-a-kind movie thanks to its retro ambiance, among other things. The setting of the movie is the 1960's, long before the time of the Avengers and the multiverse saga, and a period when the earth is enjoying Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as their everyday heroes. It so happens that the team is warned by the Silver Surfer (played by Julia Garner) about the arrival of Galactus, the devourer of worlds, that the earth is in for some destruction yet.

We, therefore, expect that a new dynamic of the MCU will be introduced and expanded by this movie. WandaVision's Matt Shakman will be in charge of the movie’s directorial positions and the screenplay was developed by Jeff Kaplan, Ian Springer, Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, and Peter Cameron. Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, will be serving as producer which definitely contributes to the excitement that fans have for the movie's release.

However, we do not yet know the roles of Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles. Utilizing an eclectic mix of traditional comic book elements, plus vintage milieu, and cosmic-scale conflict, the new movie, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, is to be a phenomenon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's next era.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be shown in cinemas on July 25, 2025.
