Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. Pokémon XY Kalos Saga Returns to Netflix Starting June 1 With 140 Episodes

Pokémon XY Kalos Saga Returns to Netflix Starting June 1 With 140 Episodes

Info in Movie News | Big news for Pokémon fans, especially those who followed Ash's journey through the Kalos region. Starting June 1, Netflix will bring back the entire Kalos saga of the animated Pokémon series. That means three full seasons are coming your way, Pokémon the Series XY, Kalos Quest, and XYZ, totaling 140 episodes of classic adventures.

According to Collider, this re-launch of the series is not just a throwback; it ushers in the come-back of the Pokémon anime which is most beloved by fans, along with renewed graphics, deeper plots, and battles with the most iconic Pokémon in history. The Kalos part in the series had its first episode's release in 2013, and it is still by far one of the most revolutionary plots of the whole Pokemon series. The show has been running for 27 seasons.

In the XY season, Ash Ketchum is present as he enters the Kalos region with Pikachu by his side once more. He immediately makes friends with three new companions – Serena, a new trainer with a past connection to Ash, Clemont, a young inventor, and his little sister Bonnie. This time, Ash is more mature and he often takes on the role of a mentor for his newer friends as they explore Kalos and battle for badges. The new season is different because Ash is here more of an independent and leading character.

Kalos Quest further fastens the relationship between him and Pokémon like Froakie and Goomy. His journey through the region introduces him to new rivals and challenges, and we get to see more evolution in both character and Pokémon. This season continues the gym badge quest and sets the stage for the high-stakes events of XYZ.

In XYZ, the tone becomes more intense. Ash and his crew go farther into the mysteries of Kalos, with a primary focus on Mega Evolution and the mythical Pokémon Zygarde. The team has a direct confrontation with Team Flare that will endanger the entire region if their plans are carried out.  The final episodes lead up to the epic Lumiose Conference, delivering some of the most exciting battles in Pokémon history.

The Kalos arc is returning at a perfect time. While fans wait for part 3 of Pokémon Horizons to drop on June 27, these episodes serve as the ideal rewatch, or a great entry point if you missed them the first time. Horizons, now the mainline series, follows new heroes Liko and Roy, continuing the legacy after Ash’s departure from the spotlight.

So whether you're revisiting old favorites or diving in for the first time, Netflix's addition of the Kalos saga is your chance to catch all the action, emotion, and unforgettable Pokémon moments. Don’t miss it this June, it’s time to head back to Kalos.
