However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. ONE: High School Heroes Brings Dark High School Vigilante Action to Wavve

ONE: High School Heroes Brings Dark High School Vigilante Action to Wavve

Info in Movie News | Wavve is set with a new adventure and is going to bring explosive drama to the K-drama market this May, by showcasing ONE: High School Heroes, a drama serial filled with brutal fighting happening in a high school. The series, which is originally from a popular webtoon, has adventure and detective stories, youth fights for their rights, and the student front, making the whole thing play out within a dark and dirty school campus full of violence instead of just a regular classroom.

According to Soompi, the drama centers on Kim Ui Gyeom, a quiet and top-performing student, played by Lee Jung Ha. Behind his perfect image lies a storm of emotions, built up by years of pressure from his strict father. When he meets Kang Yoon Gi, portrayed by Kim Do Wan, things begin to shift. Yoon Gi sees Ui Gyeom’s hidden fighting instincts and draws him into a secret world of underground justice. Together, they form a masked duo known as High School Heroes, taking justice into their own hands.

The teaser poster, just released by Wavve, shows the two standing side by side in masks, facing a dark, run-down building. The tone is grim, hinting at the dangerous path they’re about to walk and the shadows they must face to stand up against a corrupt school system.

Lee Jung Ha has turned into a kind of rebel from the perfect student he first seemed to be throughout the drama using his pain as the driving force. This event happens right after his mind-blowing performance in the role of the teenager, Kim Bong Seok, who was given the power of flying in Moving. His career makes a turn to a more intense, complex character.

Kim Do Wan's Yoon Gi isn't just a sidekick. He's the mastermind who first realizes the flaws in the current situation and then, with the help of Ui Gyeom, carries out his plan. The plot of the film is unfolded by their relationship, which is packed with nervousness, confidence, and masked aims.

The drama’s actors feature Kim Sang Ho as the character of Ui Gyeom’s father, who is a successful businessman, yet he is a kind of man who uses the people with his dictatorial demeanor while keeping up appearances as an amiable personality. Kim Joo Ryoung, the most famous from Squid Game, is the actress who portrays the role of Ui Gyeom’s mother. She depicts a gradual transformation as she starts out as a powerless parent but later on, becomes a person who is ready to do everything in her power to guarantee the safety of her son.

Internal conflict is a more frequent occurrence in the school. Im Sung Kyun has landed the role of Kim Seung Joon, a person who has become the most influential figure on the campus. Lee Geol Jae, a student who transferred from Single’s Inferno 4, is a former fan favorite and comes with a good dose of mystery. With a dark past. Yoo Hee Je comes in as Choi Ki Soo who is the last piece of the rival team, constestant no 3 at the end of the Core Rival Lineup. He is portrayed as someone who is icy and puts an act on to catch his victims with the vigilante duo.

ONE: High School Heroes by the combo of sadness, fervent action, and a sharp critical reply to society promises to bust the typical school drama to be something extraordinary. It’s a tale of the young who are pushed in their youths, but still, they come and take what they believe belongs to them, and refusing the unjust rules they are being thrashed with if not breaking them all the same. With masks, fists, and their rule they are the knightly rebels.

Don't forget to mark your calendar - ONE: High School Heroes premieres only on Wavve this May.
