Jung Kyung Ho Sees Ghosts in MBC’s Oh My Ghost Clients, Premieres May 30

MBC has something truly original and intriguing in the store called Oh My Ghost Clients, a blend of ghost stories, professional conflict, and a bit of humor. Only brave-hearts shouldn't miss the one who likes unordinary characters and stories.
According to Soompi, this upcoming drama is written by Kim Bo Tong, the brilliant mind behind D.P., and directed by Yim Soon Rye, known for films like Little Forest and The Point Men. Together, they’re crafting a story that blends the harsh realities of working life with a supernatural twist.
Leading the cast is Jung Kyung Ho, who plays Noh Moo Jin, a labor attorney with one strange skill, he can see ghosts. Moo Jin is broke, a little immature, and struggling to keep his law office afloat. While visiting a risky job site, he ends up signing a dangerous labor contract. That moment changes everything, as he suddenly finds himself with a new wave of ghostly clients who need legal help from beyond the grave.
Moo Jin is quite frankly not the most in control of his life guy, but once he decides on something he will go all the way with it, even if it means spirits and souls that are uneasy getting closure. This rather odd scenario of a plot promises to be a combo of fun and touching moments.
However, he is not alone in this. Seol In Ah is playing Jang Do Young, a very intelligent and strong character who is basically doing all the management and forming the core of Moo Jin’s law business. She is quick, confident, and usually Moo Jin’s voice of reason. Their partnership seems dynamic and is filled with amusing tension.
Hak Yeon, who is also known as N from VIXX, appears also in the cast, he’s going to be Kang Do Goon, a person who creates content and is overtly obsessive about increasing his online views. His different and eccentric personality brings a new character to the team. In one scene, the trio even launches a live broadcast together to attract new clients, living or dead.
The stills released so far show Moo Jin in action, handing out business cards with a shiny badge and a confident smile. In contrast, another shot shows him looking like he just saw a ghost, which, well, makes sense.
The production team had high praise for Jung Kyung Ho, saying his performance brought the character to life in ways even the script didn’t expect. His attention to detail and expressive style made Noh Moo Jin both believable and charming.
With an unusual premise, strong cast, and a blend of reality and the supernatural, Oh My Ghost Clients is shaping up to be one of the more original dramas this year.
