Info in Movie News | The upcoming TVING original drama, "Way Back Love" is all set to captivate the audience with a great story that combines fantasy with romance. In the cast, the famous Gong Myung and Kim Min Ha are included, which assures the viewers that the show is going to be an emotional roller-coaster full of surprises.
According to Soompi, Gong Myung steps into the shoes of Ram Woo, a reserved student who usually spends his time having fun by playing board games with his best friend, Hong Seok (Jung Gun Joo). But after reuniting with the love of his life Hee Wan (Kim Min Ha) who was his first and childhood friend, his life changed completely. Their encounter and their love take a twist – Ram Woo returns as a death angel, and by chance, Hee Wan's time to live is only 7 days.
The newly released character portraits demonstrate two contrasting sides of Ram Woo. In one of them, he is shown as a student with a gentle gaze, which radiates calmness and peace over all the people around him. This new criminal look sees him doning the cloak of death but he is still smiling in the image he looks newly youthful his smile extends farther and he is slightly turning his head, a riddle expression in his eyes. This gradual transformation suggests a dilemma in link between Ram's and Hee's life and destiny. The question of Ram Woo's growth and success as related to Hee Wan's life and destiny is exposed by the apparent major change of Ram Woo to grim reaper.
Way Back Love is not just some romance in a typical fashion. It shows the warring emotions between life and death and the real meaning of love and sincerity. Gong Myung shared that the scenario really pulled his heart strings right from the moment he read the script. "The story is very emotional. The story of the characters is very near and true, it's packed with sweet occasions, lots of sympathy, love both mutual and sincere," Gong Myung suggested
On the other hand, he had no objections to complimenting Lee Min Ha, his co-actor. "She can easily change from sweet to intense looks within a few seconds. Her eyes are the soul of every scene, they tell true stories," he said.
The story is dated back in time but it will remain as the modern melodrama filled with different emotions. The first two episodes of Way Back Love will be aired on the 3rd of April. These two are just exclusive to take people inside the heart of their love that is not similar to others and they are able to really get an understanding of it.
