Materialists: Matchmaker and the Problems of a Love Triangle (Trailer)

Info in Movie News | A24 has finally released the official trailer for Materialists, the latest movie from director and writer Celine Song. After the overwhelming triumph of Past Lives, her Oscar-nominated directorial movie, Celine Song is now onto a romantic comedy that includes elements of comedy and drama this time. The scheduled release date is June 13, 2025, and it will start its theatrical run on this date.

A common love triangle seen in the movie is exposed through the Materialists trailer. The main plot consists of a story in which Dakota Johnson plays a New York matchmaker who is very successful while any of the two men she will choose between is a wealthy guy. One of them, Pedro Pascal, comes from an elite family and the other is her ex-boyfriend, a cast brings the part to be Chris Evans, an actor who has always been going through hard times and currently is still in the process of finding his foothold in the world.
