Jason Statham Strikes Back in A Working Man

Info in Movie News | Fans of Jason Statham, you better prepare yourselves, he really wants to show you how cool he can be in his newest movie, A Working Man. The film is actually a team of Statham and director The Beekeeper's David Ayer, and the film implies an extreme brutality with a lot of suspense.


Good and Evil in this Deadly Conflict

According to Collider, Jason Statham is Levon Cade in A Working Man, someone formerly a special operations agent, who is not satisfied yet with the present and looks for a simpler life such as a builder as he needs to make sure he performs his role in bringing up his daughter. But, neither his peaceful-life dream comes true. At one time, when a local student gets lost, Levon is obliged once more to meddle in his former dangerous world, revealing a suspicious criminal network that poses a threat to their wellbeing.

Killer Fighting and David Ayer

David Ayer, who in collaboration with Sylvester Stallone wrote the script, approaches Statham with a full confession of the adrenaline-pumping, top-grade sequences that one can expect. In explaining this in an interview, Ayer revealed that the film is not just a simple action drama, but in addition, a vivid portrayal of a man who forsakes his former life for his family is also given.

It’s a thrilling film that remains at full speed throughout, and there are engaging and moving stories with some famous actors like David Harbour, Michael Peña, and Noemi Gonzalez.

A Potential New Franchise?

You will be fascinated to know that Chuck Dixon's novel Levon’s Trade, which is actually a long series, is a work that A Working Man is adapted from. Ayer playfully suggested the creation of a franchise out of the film that would follow the path of Levon Cade, who will inevitably experience a variety of threats.

Therefore, A Working Man, which is to be released on March 28, is guaranteed to provide adrenaline-pumping action scenes combined with a story that goes deeper. Those fans of action movies who give this one a go will be happy they did!
