The stellar line-up includes Ben Platt (from Theater camp), Emma Roberts (The Blackcoat's Daughter), Kelsey Asbille (Yellowstone), Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story), Laura Harrier (BlacKkKlansman), and Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), all set to be a part of this thrilling project.
The movie, as reported by Deadline, will also mark the directorial debut of Brian McGreevy, renowned writer, and creator acclaimed for his unique narrative style. Not only will McGreevy be directing the movie, but he has also penned the original screenplay for 'The Technique'. However, the storyline is still under wraps, which only fuels the anticipation more.
The technique is being produced by the Hypothesis' Miles Skinner and The Raised By Wolves' Andrea Bucko, with the movie's funding and development are the works of some different parties, including York Movies and Cinelaunch. Among other projects, Raised By Wolves has previously been connected with ventures like Alpha Gang, Captivated, and Gus Van Sant's Dead Man’s Wire.
The use of various genres of actors in The Technique makes it the best film experience, and the audience will find it very motivating. Rather than always going in a direction that one has already been in, Ben Platt will be getting out of the usual and taking a risk by doing a genre he has never done before, which is musical.
