Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. Dog Man Holds Dominance at Box Office, Leaving Newcomers 2 movie Behind

Info in Movie News | The animated feature Dog Man from DreamWorks Animation held strong at the box office this weekend — and in its second weekend running. The movie competes well against newcomers ‘Love Hurts‘, starring Ke Huy Quan, and ‘Heart Eyes‘, directed by Josh Ruben.

By Monday, February 10, ‘Dog Man’ had reached around $55 million in domestic box office revenues, with another $13 million coming from the weekend alone, per a report by Collider.

Dog Man follows the adventures of it s main character, once Officer Knight and his beloved dog, Greg. Joined by a surgeon after a radical lifesaving procedure, it becomes one entity and gives birth to a new superhero.

The slam dunk of 'Dog Man' reminds me of two other animated features that cracked the code: 'Moana 2' and 'Mufasa: The Lion King'. This ongoing success story is emphasizing that family moviegoers remain an important force in the post-pandemic world of film.

As such, the two new entries this week – Love Hurts and Heart Eyes – both failed to reach double figures in their opening week grosses. Stars Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding and Heart Eyes, from Sony, managed just $8.5 million.

Although the reported production cost was under $20 million, the film received a largely positive audience reception, with an 81 percent rating from the site Rotten Tomatoes.
