Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. He’s a doll-collecting, serial-killing dog groomer in a velour tracksuit played with greasy ...

Walton Goggins Joins Nuclear Comedy, Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture

Info in Movie News | Animated movies are getting weirder, in the best way possible. The upcoming movie Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture is shaping up to be one of the most unique projects in recent animation history, blending retro sci-fi absurdity with heartfelt storytelling.

According to Deadline, Walton Goggins (Fallout, The White Lotus) has been added to the voice cast of this animated feature, alongside Ron Funches (Inside Out 2), Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty), and Shondrella Avery (Napoleon Dynamite). They join previously announced cast members Stephanie Beatriz, Tim Meadows, Andy Richter, Matt Walsh, Seth Green, Pamela Adlon, Lou Ferrigno, and Clare Grant.

In a parallel universe of 1962, the book concentrates on Harry, a sad 10-year-old kid, greatly convinced that aliens took his father. So, Harry decides to find out the truth and, therefore, secretly enters Area 51, where he cannot even imagine that he will get to see the unknown world of atomic weapons testing which not only has given rise to a strange new species but also has kind of mid-century furniture that can move, speak, and be intelligent.

Such a bizarre new world is actually the dwelling place of Swiv, a seriously funny office chair that seems destined to be Harry's friend until the U.S. army comes along and forcibly takes him away. Since Harry decides to save the friend who has been just lost, he and the wise old recliner as well as the disobedient ottoman are ready to stop the evil plans of General Frank Holtzman, a hot-headed army leader who things the furniture with a soul is a weapon, not a miracle, still if they convince him otherwise.

Michael Skolnick, the man who is also one of the writers and producers of the movie, is the one who directed the movie. Skolnick, who had previously done the offbeat indie comedy The Gliksmans, is making an animated feature for the first time with this movie. However, to me it generally seems like a significant move. He is accompanied on this journey by co-writers and producers Keegan Cotton, Jordan Lewandowski, and Seth Morton. Riley Hamilton, whose work includes Saturday Morning All Star Hits! and The Eric Andre Show, was in charge of casting.

Walton Goggins is really having a great streak going on in 2025. Being a major surprise with his role as The Ghoul in Fallout and getting good reviews for his part in The White Lotus Season 3, he is still the most wanted actor in both live and animation. Besides, he is also the voice of Cecil Stedman in Invincible Season 3, and he had the last time to perform his crazy character as Uncle Baby Billy in the final season of The Righteous Gemstones.

Ron Funches brings his signature warmth and humor to the cast, fresh off Season 5 of Harley Quinn. Chris Parnell continues his long-running role in Rick and Morty Season 8, and Shondrella Avery recently voiced a role in Thelma the Unicorn, reuniting with Napoleon Dynamite collaborators Jon Heder and Jared Hess.

While specific character assignments haven’t been revealed yet, the concept alone is enough to grab attention. Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture with its otherworldly design, emotional center, and powerful voice cast is a must-see. Currently, the production is in progress and additional information is likely to emerge shortly.
