Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. He’s a doll-collecting, serial-killing dog groomer in a velour tracksuit played with greasy ...

Bullet/Bullet Anime Premieres July 16 on Disney+ With Star-Studded Team

Info in Movie News | After a full decade in the making, Bullet/Bullet is finally revving its engines for an explosive debut. This is not a manga adaptation or a reboot, it’s a completely original anime from director Sunghoo Park, best known for helming Jujutsu Kaisen and The God of High School. Set in a gritty, post-apocalyptic future, this series blends high-stakes heists, fast cars, and offbeat characters in a world where survival depends on what relics of the past you can steal, trade, or fight for.

According to Otaku USA Magazine, the story follows Gear, a young man working at a junk shop with a not-so-secret side hustle, stealing back goods that were unjustly taken. He’s joined by Shirokuma, a gambling-addicted polar bear with a shady past, and Qu-0213, a rogue robot with four wildly different personalities. The thieves are a trio working together. They get into big trouble because of a job that they accepted from a girl called Noa.

An assassin is after Noa and the weapon they need to pick up is reveled to be far more hazardous to everyone than what they have thought. Soon, Gear and his team are being chased across the wasteland by a heavily armed group that believes they’ve stumbled onto a secret powerful enough to shake what’s left of the world’s order.

The series is produced by Park’s own studio, E&H Production, in collaboration with GAGA. Park not only directs but also developed the story over the past ten years. The writing is led by Aki Kindaichi (Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray), while character designs come from veteran animator Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Hunter x Hunter, Overlord), who also serves as chief animation director.

The visual flair doesn’t stop there. Legendary mechanical designer Hidetaka Tenjin (Macross, Gundam) brings his signature style to both concept and tech design. Meanwhile, car chase sequences are supervised by Shin Misawa, best known for Initial D, a perfect match for Bullet/Bullet's adrenaline-pumping tone.

Music also plays a big role. Japanese rapper Chanmina performs the intense opening theme “WORK HARD”, and Tokyo-based rock band Newspeak closes each episode with “Glass Door”. Korean boy band TWS adds even more star power, contributing an insert song that premieres in the latest trailer.

The anime is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ through its Star label in two parts. Episodes 1–8 will stream starting July 16, with episodes 9–12 arriving on August 13. In Japan, Bullet/Bullet will also screen in theaters as a two-part movie. Part one of the anime series, Dangan Shissō-hen (Bullet Run Arc), will be first shown on July 25, and part two, Dangan Kessen-hen (Bullet Final Battle Arc), will be released on August 15.

Bullet/Bullet is turning out to be really exciting for fans of wild antiheroes, rapid action, and daring storytelling. Anime heavyweights and an original vision for years have joined together to realize this project. It is a series to watch!
