Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. Skillhouse Turns Influencer Fame Into a Deadly Game of Survival

Skillhouse Turns Influencer Fame Into a Deadly Game of Survival

Info in Movie News | What happens when there is so much influencer culture? Skillhouse, the most recent horror movie from Josh Stolberg, writer of Saw X, goes to on the negative side of making fame online. A twisted, blood-soaked premise about the things that are followers, clout, and digital validation is the world of influence, and you know what? All those ideas don't look that bad.

According to Collider, the trailer for Skillhouse has officially dropped, and it’s as wild as it sounds. It opens with a group of high-profile influencers waking up in a creepy, unfamiliar building, inside actual body bags. At first, there’s confusion, banter, even a moment to crack open a bottle of champagne. But things shift quickly when they receive a video message from a masked figure played by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. His message? If they want to survive, they’ll need to earn likes, followers, and online engagement, or else.

This isn’t just another slasher movie with a gimmick. Stolberg, who knows his way around gore and dark humor, brings a sharp satirical edge to the movie. It’s a commentary on how far people will go for digital approval, served with jump scares, twisted games, and a cast that blends Hollywood with influencer fame.

Joining 50 Cent are social media stars Bryce Hall and Hannah Stocking, along with veteran actor Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger), McCarrie McCausland (The Originals), and MMA fighter Paige VanZant. Behind the scenes, Jackson also takes on producer duties alongside Shane Valdez, Brad Baskin, and GenTV founder Ryan Kavanaugh.

Skillhouse hits theaters July 11. Whether you love influencers or love to hate them, this movie is definitely one to watch, with the lights on.
