Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. He’s a doll-collecting, serial-killing dog groomer in a velour tracksuit played with greasy ...

Simu Liu Returns to Marvel Avengers Doomsday, Joins Gremlins Animated Series as Voice Actor

Simu Liu Returns to Marvel, Joins Gremlins Animated Series as Voice Actor

Info in Movie News | You might know Simu Liu as the martial arts powerhouse from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, but that’s just the beginning. In a recent chat on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Simu casually confirmed that he’ll be returning for the next Avengers movie, though, as expected, Marvel’s keeping the details locked down tight.

“I knew I’d be involved, but they didn’t even tell me who else was in it,” he said. Turns out, he found out about legendary actors like Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart joining the cast the same way we did, through the official announcement. “It kind of blew my mind. They’re two of the greatest actors of all time.” As for Marvel’s secrecy, he jokingly blamed it on Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo for spoiling too much in the past. “Now we’re all being punished,” he laughed.

But Simu isn’t just returning to the superhero world. On April 10, he’ll also be stepping into the world of animation with Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. The series is a prequel to the classic Gremlins movies, and Simu voices Sam Wing, the younger version of the shop owner we all remember from the original movie.  This is yet another feather in his cap and quite a cool move, we can see that he has the talent to fit right in the middle, somehow, of two complete opposites - an action blockbuster and a warm cartoon memory.

That he can play a part in this animated series is not just a new touch in Simu but that also introduces us to his charismatic nature, adaptability, and suitability for the character required for that family-friendly, fun film you were always looking for of another world. For long-time Gremlins fans, having someone like Simu on board brings fresh energy to the franchise. And with production from HBO Max and DreamWorks Animation, expectations are already high.

While fans wait for his next epic Marvel appearance, Gremlins offers a fun warm-up. Between his down-to-earth charm, great comedic timing, and clear dedication to every role, Simu Liu is proving he’s not just a superhero, he’s shaping up to be one of the most dynamic entertainers of his generation.
