Info in Movie News | Wednesday Addams is back at Nevermore Academy, and no, she’s not thrilled about it. With new enemies lurking, a stalker sending cryptic threats, and her name now plastered all over campus like some reluctant rockstar, Wednesday’s sophomore year is shaping up to be even stranger than the last. According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. Joe Keery, Liam Neeson Face Killer Fungus in Sci-Fi Comedy Cold Storage

Info in Movie News | Joe Keery, who is known from his role in the TV show Stranger Things, is now in a movie called Cold Storage, combining scary and possibly funny in an extraordinary way. A kind of The Last of Us, but with a dark sense of the absurd, and Liam Neeson definitely fit the bill.

According to Variety, the movie is directed by Jonny Campbell (Dracula, Westworld) and written by blockbuster veteran David Koepp, adapting his own novel. Koepp’s the guy behind iconic scripts like Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, and Spider-Man (yes, the Tobey Maguire one). This time, he’s also producing, alongside Zombieland and Panic Room producer Gavin Polone.

Keery plays Teacake, a night shift worker at a sketchy self-storage facility built on top of an old military base. Everything goes sideways when a government-sealed parasitic fungus breaks free from the underground and starts melting brains—literally. He teams up with Naomi (played by Barbarian’s Georgina Campbell), and an aging bioterror agent played by none other than Liam Neeson, to stop the infection before it wipes out humanity.

Also in the cast: Sosie Bacon (Smile), Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread), and the legendary Vanessa Redgrave (Mission: Impossible). Solid lineup.

Samuel Goldwyn Films have picked up the North American rights and are going to screen the movie in movie houses later this year. If you are a fan of intelligent, creepy thrillers with a touch of humor, Cold Storage is probably your next go-to movie.
