Info in Movie News | For those of you who love K-Drama, we have great news! Jeon Yeo Been and Jung Jinyoung have signed a contract to co-star in a new TV series that is expected to be full of dramas and mysteries. The Korean drama, titled Nice Woman Boo Se Mi (working title), is planned for the second half of 2025, and it has indeed drawn attention.

So here’s the setup: Jeon Yeo Been plays Kim Young Ran, a tough, no-nonsense bodyguard who’s been through a rough life thanks to poverty. One day, she’s offered a life-changing deal—to enter a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman. Sounds like the usual K-drama setup, right? Well, here’s the twist: she has to take on a brand-new identity, Boo Se Mi, a classy, rich woman with the perfect life… for three whole months. And of course, nothing goes as planned.

On the other hand, Jung Jinyoung stars as Jeon Dong Min, a single dad who runs a strawberry farm in the countryside and takes care of his child. Se Mi, the new kindergarten teacher, is liked by everyone when she appears all of a sudden but he is the only one who is not. He is the only one who doubts her perfectionist image and we know exactly it is this tension that will cause the sparks.

According to Soompi, the drama is directed by The Kidnapping Day’s Park Yoo Young and written by Hyun Gyu Ri, the screenwriter behind The Night Owl. With names like that behind the scenes, expectations are pretty high.

The supporting cast is stacked too: Seo Hyun Woo plays a ruthless lawyer who will do anything for money, Jang Yoon Joo becomes a power-hungry stepdaughter of the chaebol family, and Joo Hyun Young is the cheerful yet mysterious housemaid living with Kim Young Ran. Yep, every single character has layers.

From fake identities, contract marriage, family drama, and a countryside love story, Nice Woman Boo Se Mi comprises various scenes and has signs of being a wild, emotional ride and sensitive journey. The production team recently told the fans that they believe in good acting skills of the cast and they are hoping that everyone is anticipating exciting events that are about to take place.
