Zavien Garrett can be seen in the part of Felix Facilier, the mysterious descended son of Dr. Facilier from The Princess and The Frog. Between his father's enigmatic legend, Felix could be the one to introduce an interesting dynamic with the incorporation of a mixture of magic, mystery, and maybe some mischief.
The diva is Ryan McEwen and his mate, Dayton Paradis, who are going to embody Squirmy and Squeaky Smee, the twin sons of Mr. Smee from Peter Pan. These new members hint at any relationship with Captain Hook and a world both funny and risky, Neverland.
Returning Favorites and Wonderland Setting
Alongside the newcomers, Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker will reprise their roles as Princess Red and Chloe, the daughters of the Queen of Hearts and Cinderella, respectively. The new upcoming film is mainly set in Wonderland; thus the audience can expect to not only see the most colorful and quirky sides of the setting but also moment interjections reminiscent of the story "Alice in Wonderland." Collider shared that "a new kind of magic will be introduced to the franchise" as these Descendants still grow and add layers to the world.
Leonardo Nam is also back as Maddox Hatter, Mad Hatter’s son, keeping the Wonderland connections strong. Additional new characters include Liamani Segura as Red’s sister Pink, Brendon Tremblay as Max Hatter, Alexandro Byrd as Luis Madrigal, son of Luisa Madrigal, and Kiara Romero as Hazel Hook, daughter of Captain Hook.
Behind the Scenes: A Talented Team
The film is directed by Kimmy Gatewood, with a script by Tamara Chestna, Dan Frey, and Ru Sommer. Longtime franchise contributors Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh are back as executive producers, ensuring continuity and maintaining the beloved spirit of the series. On top of that is the Emmy-winning choreographer Emilio Dosal who has guaranteed us so many dynamic musical numbers and wonderful dance moments that we will never forget them.
