According to The Guardian, Season 2 opens with a flash of chaos. After saving Nevermore from the undead pilgrim Joseph Crackstone in Season 1, Wednesday has earned a cult-like following among her peers. However, the goth queen of gloom is rather unimpressed. However, the goth queen of gloom is not satisfied. “I liked it better when I was feared and hated,” she grumbles, while her peers gather around her, begging for autographs. But there’s no time for admiration, or personal space. Within minutes of the first episode, we’re introduced to a fresh villain, the Kansas City Scalper. Thunderbolts: Unleashing the Next Blockbuster of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in May 2 (Trailer)

Info in Movie News | Marvel Studios released a new trailer for highly-anticipated new movie “Thunderbolts” at the Super Bowl on February 9, 2025. This new film is the 36th in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and, as per the expectation, it should do phenomenal business at the box office. From the start, it was made clear that this movie will be released in the US on May 2, 2025.

“Thunderbolts” is directed by Jake Schreier, and the screenplay was written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin and Joanna Calo. Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Edward Pierce, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus also star in the movie.

One interesting part of the "Thunderbolts" trailer is that we get to see the Avengers Tower, which housed Earth’s mightiest heroes for more than ten years, in the past. Years after the hero sold it, however, the creation of this Iron Man continues to be a major part of the MCU.

After Avengers: Endgame, speculation runs rampant as to who the new owner of the tower will be. The first footage from “Thunderbolts,” reveals that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine appears to be running the place, but we have no confirmation that she actually owns it.

New images show an inside look at the altered landmark that features a significant change at its rear after the addition of a darker, taller building This new piece, in the way of a cone, offers a suitably imposing counterpoint to the cloak.

The added structure also appears to have the facility for launching a rocket in alignment with its Sentry, suggesting the new owner might be building around the entire tower.

While "Thunderbolts" is set in the current MCU landscape, it's not the sole Marvel film that may refer to the legendary tower. "Fantastic Four: First Steps" releasing in July, also seems related to the New York property.

The first trailer for the new “Fantastic Four” featured the Baxter Building where the “First Family” conducts its mission. The interior and exterior footage of the building seem to be connected to the Avengers tower as located in the same vicinity in New York city. The really interesting thing about the Baxter Building is that, unlike the rest of the MCU, “Fantastic Four: First Steps” could take place in another timeline or universe altogether.

Therefore, not just the film’s setting but also the landmark might seem somewhat different from known towers. The association becomes deeper as Robert Downey Jr. has been cast as Doctor Doom, the rival of the Fantastic Four. His relationship with the Fantastic Four and the Baxter Building may be tied in with his role in an alternate universe.
