Ben, an extremely unsociable and quite schoolboy, has found a supernatural trait: the faculty to morph into any person he touches (preserving both the appearance and abilities of the person). This makes him the main character and, therefore, prompts him to come to terms with himself, the outcry of his surrogate parent, and the correct use of his ability.
When Ben rescues a classmate from the skinhead attitude Jason has, he consequently becomes the new target and he naturally retreats to the bathroom, where he suddenly discovers that his powers are activated for the first time. As he glances at another BJ, Ben trembles when even his own mum clearly does not realize who he is. Bewildered and frightened, he unintentionally gets in touch with Carter, a mysterious female who is familiar with his problem. She calms him down by claiming that he will eventually be able to deal with his ability properly.
Ben decides to try to solve his trouble by enlisting his stepsister, Max, who initially is the greatest doubter but later becomes his best comrade. They both search for a difficult past of Carter’s and found out that Peters seems to be the maniac a monster that possesses the powers because he is now a shape-coming crook. They join forces with Carter, who is by their side, in order to solve a bigger plot connected with mutants protected by Yates.
Yates’s domination over everything that surrounds her is a knock on the door to action for Ben and his friends. Their fight comes to a climax at a school event, where Ben outwits Yates with his own power to transform himself. Thanks to Carter's power and Max's quick mind, together they manage to capture and lock Yates to ensure she doesn't threaten anyone anymore.
Even though he doesn't really want it, Ben looks for some variations in his own abilities that make him greater after the victory—indications that there will be no end. Feeling unsure about what is to come, he takes note of the fact that uncovering himself is just as important as perfecting his abilities.
Character Details:
Ben: A quiet modest youngster that recently turns into someone else. Ben is undergoing quite a shock in learning to concentrate on how he could actually do this, and how to deal with the issue of responsibility wisely. Although at first, he didn't want to do this, he comes around and saves his family members and helps to cure the world.
MAX: Ben’s stepsister and faithful sidekick. Max is outspoken, no-nonsense, and greatly loving her brother. As she battles with her final remembrance and difficulties, she loans her strength to him to resist opposed obstacles, besides daily living through human problems.
Carter: A listless mutant acting as a mentor<parallel>to Ben, he showed him how to use them. Carter carries the burden of the past - mainly, her role in stopping an apocalyptic storm unleashed by Yates. Also, her relationship to her father, who is the detective, brings the main emotional issues to the topic.
Yates: The main villain, a rogue mutant who can shape-shift & steal people's powers. Yates’s appetite for power make him tough to handle, & his playing of one side against another fuels the larger portion of the show’s conflict.
Detective Darren: Carter’s father, a valiant detective involved in the mutant altercation. Darren was a strong and decisive cop who devoted himself completely to solving the mystery of the mutants. His role is the main driving force behind Darren being so caring father who just wants to see his daughter while being her protector at the same time.
Liz: Ben’s strong and caring mother. Liz used to be a joyful wife and mother not knowing her son was changing in a way she could not comprehend. The twist in Liz's life involving her relationship with a new partner and her struggle to balance harmony in their blended family, adds emotional depth to the whole tale.
Phil; Becomes acquainted with his stepson, who is his stepson and is worried about keeping his family as usual as possible in their new blended family. Phil did everything in his power to be a friend to Ben and to be capable dealing with the normal part of the accustomed family life, despite the rarely coming up normal events.
Jason: The school bully is a repetitive antagonist of Ben. Jason was the most fearsome bully at the school and hence the worst obstacle for Ben. The schoolyard bully's meanness over to Ben demands that the teenager confront his worries and to find his formidable power in himself, thus being able to defend himself and the rest of the crowd.
Morgan: A potent mutant and ally who uncovers Yates, Morgan is a mutant who has an amazing superpower and is Ben's number one comrade. Morgan is the one who tells the truth about Yates and the secrets of the mutant community that some of you do not know, and in the process, he leads Ben and Max in their final big battle.
Me is an exhilarating orphan adventure, a superheroic girl action drama with layers of emotional complexity. It explores themes of identity, family, power, and what you do with it, laying the groundwork for an exciting and unpredictable journey ahead.
