Synopsis: Iron Fist S1 (2017) & S2 (2018)

Season 1:

The‍‌‍‍‌ story begins when Danny Rand, who was presumed killed in a plane crash in the Himalayas 15 years ago, returns to New York City. To everyone, he is the son of the deceased owner of Rand Enterprises, but his old pal’s family, the Meacham’s, Ward and Joy, get him locked up in a mental hospital. Danny tells them that he was rescued by the monks of K’un-Lun, trained in martial arts, and became the Iron Fist, a mystical warrior. Joy at first doesn't believe him, but she comes to trust him by testing him through a series of trials.

Using his Iron Fist powers, Danny escapes from the hospital and goes to the martial arts teacher Colleen Wing for help. They strike up all kinds of friendships, but Danny’s presence disturbs the Rand Enterprises apple cart which is now controlled by Ward and the supposedly dead Harold Meacham, who has been hiding thanks to a deal with the Hand, a secretive organization with white-suited members. While Danny is trying to get his family back and protect the city, he finds out that his war with the Hand is really just beginning. The season ends with Danny and Colleen arriving at the place where the monks of K’un-Lun have been killed, which is a huge disappointment of Danny as the Iron ‍‌‍‍‌Fist.

Season 2:

Danny‍‌‍‍‌ Rand is living in New York with Colleen Wing, and the two of them have been doing menial jobs whilst also taking vigilante work to clean up the city. Davos, his old friend, returns with the intention of killing him as he believes himself to be the real Iron Fist. Davos gets hold of a former Iron Fist’s body and uses an ancient bowl along with Danny’s blood in a ritual to transfer the power to himself. Davos, thinking that he was the one who saved the world, using his new powers started a ruthless war against the city's gangs.

As Davos’s behavior becomes more and more brutal, Danny decides to work with Colleen and Misty Knight a police officer with a bionic arm to stop him. They turn to the Crane Sisters to perform a counter-ritual to reclaim the Iron Fist power. Danny and Colleen are required to confront Davos and his gang of youths he has recruited in a battle to the death. Danny manages to defeat Davos severely wounded and with some help from his friends, and finally, Colleen becomes the Iron Fist.

The season concludes with Danny seeking out former Iron Fist Orson Randall for advice and training, while Colleen becomes the Iron Fist and protector of New York's Chinatown.

This summary focuses mainly on the characters, their storylines, and how the "Iron Fist" series evolves after only two ‍‌‍‍‌seasons.
