With the help of a great cast and a dark atmosphere, the movie looked like a potential box office hit.
There was a twist in the story which no one anticipated. Havoc received a positive initial response from critics with a 67 % approval on Rotten Tomatoes, only for audience scores to drop to a mere 42 % after a few days. The difference of opinion is typically not more than 25% and clearly illustrates a disagreement among the public for the movie.

Hardy delivers a strong physical performance as a detective falling apart both mentally and physically. But even his presence can’t fully save a script that many feel lacks depth.
Fortunately, Havoc isn’t the only Hardy project making waves right now. He also stars in MobLand, a new crime series on Paramount Plus directed by Guy Ritchie. Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, a brutal fixer working behind the scenes for a London crime family. The show reunites Hardy and Ritchie after 17 years and features big names like Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. MobLand has been better received by audiences, with praise for its gritty tone and classic British gangster vibes.
Hardy also returns as Eddie Brock in Venom: The Last Dance, which recently landed on Netflix following a successful theatrical run. The movie is believed to be Hardy's last installment with Venom, although he has been quite vocal about his openness for a comeback by challenging Spider-Man.
One of the topics that have been most talked about in this regard is the movie 'Venom' and its potential to interact with the character of Spider-Man. While nothing is officially confirmed, the potential remains wide open. Fans have been eager to see the two characters collide, especially since Spider-Man is repeatedly mentioned on news broadcasts scenes in all three Venom movies. Additionally, it is notable that Venom’s symbiote has a clear preference for Peter Parker. At the same time, as the Marvel multiverse is at play, a crossover between the two superheroes appears to be a matter of time rather than a matter of if.
