Info in Movie News | Yeri from Red Velvet is going to the refreshing new chapter of her acting career with the next live-action version of a popular webtoon called Azure Spring. The drama will be a shining emotional healing theme, personal rediscovery, and the fascinating life of traditional Korean divers and it will be a warm story not like the usual flashy urban dramas.
According to Soompi, Yuri is the main lead actor in the drama who is officially cast as Anna. A female haenyeo, a traditional female diver from Jeju who is known for her extreme breath-holding and great stamina is the character that is attributed to Yeri. With this, Yeri is going to be the one to make a huge change of her career and move to the side of acting where she will pick a more realistic, mature emotionally complex role.
