Info in Movie News | After six months of rigorous production and fan enthusiasm, Masters of the Universe has now come to an end. Nicholas Galitzine, the lead actor who represented the character He-Man, shared on his Instagram to celebrate the episode with some new pictures of his compelling cosplay.
In the image, Galitzine faces away from the camera, with his toned body barely visible due to the shadows. He is wearing the updated version of the original He-Man costume, which is the only fan eager to have the Power Sword, the symbol of the fraternity, that was carried on his back a few moments ago.
According to EntertainmentNow, the new movie is going to be centered on the emotional journey of Adam, a young boy that was sent away to Earth and who slowly uncovers the truth of his identity. As he finds himself and destiny of being the rightful heir to Eternia, Adam becomes He-Man and battles the forces that are evil and are after his world.
This movie is not a typical nostalgic one. The director Travis Knight, who made Kubo and the Two Strings and the Bumblebee, gives the story an emotional and visually appealing package. The story is more deeply rooted in the characters and focused on personal experiences as Chris Butler is the writer of it and the story that he gives in is more grounded, character-driven and impactful than previous movies.
Galitzine, who is most recognized for his characters in Red, White & Royal Blue and Purple Hearts, was extremely dedicated to the role. He was totally committed to changing himself both physically and psychologically for the character of He-Man in order to be as truthful as possible from the very beginning of the shoot.
“No pressure, just had to play the strongest man in the universe,” Galitzine joked in a recent interview. “I’ve been weight training, sword-fighting, and doing stunt work almost every day. I’m eating around 4,000 calories a day just to keep up. Honestly, it’s exhausting, but I love every second of it.”
The actor also shared how personally he connects with Adam’s journey. “We’ve all felt lost at some point,” he said. “This story of self-discovery and stepping into your full potential is something I think a lot of people can relate to.”
In the movie, a star-studded cast backed Galitzine. Teela was played by Camila Mendes, Skeletor was portrayed by Jared Leto, and Idris Elba came in as the tough warrior Man-At-Arms. The cast has been further supplemented by the names of Alison Brie who plays Evil-Lyn, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, and Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress.
The movie is crafted to be pleasing to the fans of 1980s cartoon and at the same time it is like the world of Eternia is given a contemporary, dark and dirty facelift. The sneak peeks of visuals ranging from utensil design to set pieces seem to indicate a decadent synthesis of fantasy, sci-fi and reality
And fans are positively ecstatic already, even though full-length trailers and promotional materials are still kept under wraps. Galitzine’s body, the costume reveal, and bits of training have gone wild on social media. The comments are various, from “You have the power!” to “Those arms are going to write history.”
With Masters of the Universe scheduled for release in cinemas on June 5, 2026, the countdown has started emphatically. Longtime fans or anyone who has just been introduced to the world of Eternia, all signs indicate that this is going to be one of the most exciting fantasy-action movies in the near future.
And for Nicholas Galitzine, this role might be the highlight of his budding career, showcasing that he is well and truly prepared to take the Power of Grayskull.
